BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF GREENHILLS SCHOOL John T. Basore, is a founding parent, Member of the Corporation, and founding Trustee of Greenhills School. His son, John, attended Greenhills for 2 years. Mr. Basore has continued on the Board of Trustees since Greenhills School began. He is an independent Commodities Broker. David W. Bombick, Ph.D., and his wife, Betsy, Co-Chaired the Parents Council in 2002-2003. After a successful career as a cell-molecular biologist, Dr. Bombick has received an M.A.T. in Education from Salem College. He begins his new career this fall, in the Wiley Magnet School program for high gifted biology students. This is Dr. Bombick's 2nd term as a Trustee. Evelyn M. Horton has a B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill, an M.Ed. with a Speciality in Reading from UNC-G, and is a Certified member of The Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. Mrs. Horton has also done graduate work at the University of Virginia, McGill University, Middlebury College, and La Sorbonne. Mrs. Horton states that "Raising performance to potential" has always been my goal for each student that I have taught in the past, and I am proud of the mission of Greenhills to instill in their students the joy of learning in a multi-sensory academic setting." Regina Gobble Martin has served as Treasurer of Greenhills Parents Council and has served as Co-Chair of its Jog-A-Thon fund raiser from 1996 through 2002. Her daughter, Jodi, attended Greenhills for 4 years. Mrs. Gobble is an insurance agent for New York Life Insurance and AFLAC in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. This is her fifth term on the Board of Directors. Thomas M. Roth, Jr., is a founding Member and founding Trustee of Greenhills School. He was a founding Board Member of The N. C. Branch of The International Dyslexia Association. Mr. Roth is an electrical engineer and is Coordinator of the Electronics Engineering Technology, and the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at Forsyth Technical Community College. Marjory J. Roth is founding President of Greenhills and Principal. She was the founding President of the N.C. Branch of The International Dyslexia Association. Mrs. Roth is a Fellow of The Academy of Orton-Gillingham of Practitioners and Educators (The Academy) and is a Board member of the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council, Inc.
